Wow, this restaurant is really special. The flavors and textures of the sushi are amazing and very different from other sushi I have tried.
Mimi Cabrera · Local Guide

At the counter, facing the chef, the nigiri are flame-seared to order and served one by one. Guests who sit there describe it as omakase style, but with dishes from the menu rather than a set menu.

“Excellent service! We were greeted as soon as we walk through the door. For a nicer restaurant, it still feels very welcoming and not snobbish at all. Eros was our server and was very attentive. The food was great and pretty quick. We ordered 3 nigiris(anticuchero, ventresca, and salmon braseado). Anticuchero was our favorite, followed by salmon braseado.”
“Absolutely loved our experience at Lima Nikkei! The food was a perfect fusion of bold Peruvian flavors and delicate Japanese technique. We tried several makis — Zamburiña, Acevichado, and Nori Furai — and each one was incredibly fresh, creative, and beautifully presented.”
“Spectacular, very good ingredients and good service, quality produce… order the classic pisco”
“Nikkei sushi with flavours that surprise. Lima Nikkei is a place where the sushi really stands out. You can tell it is a well-thought-out Nikkei concept, with bold but very well balanced combinations.”
“A discovery!! Spectacular service from Christopher, and a mention for the barman, who is a star. Great food at a reasonable price. We loved the corvina ceviche with baby squid and ají amarillo; the wagyu and quail egg nigiri and the flambéed salmon one were superb, and so was the green scallop tiradito.”

Second time coming here! The first was with a group of friends and I know with bigger groups the service can differ slightly but was still great and so was the food. For my second time I decided to bring my fiancé because he loves sushi and the food did not disappoint! Also our server Antony, as well as the other servers, was so nice, super helpful with recommendations, and just very attentive in general. Can’t wait to come back :)
